All steering group members have been asked to submit details of any conflicts of interest. These details will be announced to delegates at the meeting and will be included in the printed programme/abstract book.
All steering group members have been involved in setting the scientific programme at each step to ensure that all presentations are free of commercial bias, that the programme is fair and balanced, and that scientific quality and integrity is maintained.
Where there was any possible conflict of interest concerning data from a commercial body with which a steering group member has a relationship that steering group member was excluded from those discussions.
A peer review process was used to select submitted abstracts, which were blinded to reviewers, and abstracts subsequently selected for the meeting based on abstract scores.
Based on previous history of the meeting programme and delegate feedback no bias has been identified or recorded.
